Sanj, I too stuggle(d) with facial hair. My dr prescribed
spironolactone as well. I take 4-25mg tabs a day. Within 6 months, my
once thinning hair was on my head was growing back (and now thick) and
my facial hair is gone, with the exception of under my chin. I have
been told by many that bacause I waxed and plucked the area, that it
built a good blood supply and will grow back stonger and faster. I am
now and having laser hair removal treatments for this area and shave if
i have to between treatments. With the spirno med, the hair growth and
slowed significantly. Any chance of seeing a specialist?? Good Luck--I
hope this helps. Lisa
