Hi I am new to this forum but I have been struggling with PCOS for a loong time. My biggest concern or frustration is my battle with Facial hair!! ARggg! I have been on medication for years and I see absolutely no change. My doc put me on Diane35 and SPIRONOLACTONE(one a day). However I have been taking these drugs and see NO difference and I am so frustrated. I usually get my facial hair waxed (yes OUCH!!) but it grows back fast and I find the maintenance tiresome and the rate and quantity of growth very frustrating. My docs are not very supportive->they are telling me it will take time and there is probably a difference but I dont see one cause of my expectations (typical doctor response.) However after 4 years on these drugs I have seen no difference at all-> Instead I think its getting worse. Has anyone here had luck with minimizing their facial hair growth with other drugs or methods??
