Hi Carmen,

take it with meals. it will help balance your insulin levels which may (though not always) help in wieght managmenet. It may also help regulate your periods (but this is indirect), because of it's effect on insulin.

Taking met is not a reason not to watch your diet carefully. It may also help if you reduce your intake of highly processed and starchy foods (a lower carb approach) and get your carbs mainly from vegetables and high fibre grain sources. Make sure you get enough protein and healthy fats.
