Hey Angie

I am new at this board too! Anyways about your dosage, it should be enough because if it weren't it would show up in your test results. For example, when I first went on Met. I was on 500mg 3x a day. My tests showed that the Metformin in my body was not enough so now, I am on Met. 2x/day but 1000mg. It's been working for me. I have lost some weight so thats good! I never had bad acne but I have notice that since I been on Met. I have notice alittle acne, but it has been clearing up the longer I take it. I haven't notice any crankyness though. And about the low carb. I tried cutting them out totally, and I thought I was going to die! lol anyways (I think) the best way to go about it is, decreasing your carbs. (atleast until your body gets use to cutting down on them)

I don't know if any of this helps but I hope so!
