What results did you want?

I'm looking for the link, but Metformin has been tested with Dianette and it worked better than just Dianette alone. Its the only BCP I've seen tested with Metformin. The study came out in the beginning of this August, and that's the only study type thing I've seen.

Recently I saw a specialist and she prescribed Metformin. I thought this was going to be the miracle cure I had waited for for so long. However, I haven't seen the results I was hoping for and I wondered how long I could expect to wait for positive results to happen. I have been taking it nearly 3 months and I wonder whether coming off the pill would be advisable? I have been using Dianette for 4 years and many other brands before that. In total I have been on the pill for 9 years, and although it has had a positive effect on my free hormone levels etc there have been no physical improvement in my symtoms. If anything, the physical symptoms have got worse.

What can I do to make Metformin more effective for me? Should I come off the pill? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
