I have observed that women who don't cut back on their carbs while on Glucophage, don't see the improvements that those who cut out the sugar and starchy carbs. So, I always recommend also cutting carbs along with taking Glucophage. And, of course increasing exercise. The glucophage is supposed to improve your body's ability to use glucose (eg Glucose sensitivity). Exercise does this also, and a diet high in carbs most probalbly just makes this task harder.
