I recently (2 months) switched from Glucophage (2000 mg day) to Actos (30 mg day). So far I have not had any weight gain or edema. I had been on Gluco for about 2 years and was noticing that a lot of my PCOS symptoms were coming back, particularly my hair falling out! My hair hasn't stopped falling out but it is growing back really quickly and coming in curly! I have never had a curly hair on my head in my life.
