I was daignosed 8 months ago as a Diabetic II (age 50) with slight Hypertension and dislypidea.

I went to sleep last week taking 1 Glucofage pill. Waking up in the morning I was blind on my right eye. Diagnosed as having ANION (swallen papila on RE) with obscured RE sight (subnasal half lower FOV from 0 to 180 deg). Doctors say it is the reult of my diabetis? Say that there is no treatment.

I susspect this to be the result of Glucofage. Any sustain to my suspicioins? PLease reply if any known treatments? suggestions?
