Glucophage and Meridia? Good morning all! I've been reading your posts and I'm so thankful for you!! :) I have a question. I have been on500 mg of Niacin and Meridia for 30 days (10 mg) and tmrw will start on the 15mg. My blood pressure as of yesterday is perfect - 120/80 and there have been no adverse side effects other than constipation. :( I've lost 10 pounds so far. Yippee!! (This has been no small feat for me!) I started a low carb diet before starting any meds which has helped me tremendously. My doctor is going to put me on Glucophage XR in the next week or so. We're waiting for my liver test results. I asked her about the combination of Meridia and Glucophage and she said there isn't a problem taking them both. I'm really hesitant to take both of them. What I want to know is if there's anyone out there who has or is currently taking these 2 together or if you've heard anything about taking them together. Thanks for your help!!
