I took my first dose of Metformin today. Just one pill of 500 mg. Later in the afternoon I started getting the stomach issues which I was forewarned about, but I also got chills and body aches. I then took a nap that turned into a four hour weird "couldn't get up" sleep. Now I feel all shakey and weird. Is this something that is normal adjusting to the medication? Thanks for any suggestion. I will call my doctor tomorrow, but I am worried tonight. :) Thanks!
