I have been on Glucophage for awhile off and on and I started at 1/2 a pill a day and after 2-3- weeks worked up to a whole pill 500mg and when I did that I got pregnant but then I had a misscarriage and took a break for awhile and went on birth control. For the past 2 months now I have been back on 500mg Glucophage and having normal periods and ovulation. In fact I think that I am pregnant and am going to the doctor today. You should call your doctor about the dose if you are concerned. I went to 2 other doctors before I found the one that would listen and take time to explain and do something for me. Good luck!
