Have you been diagnosed with PCOS? If not, I think a visit to a
reputable reproductive endocrinologist (RE) would be a good choice. Many
will treat you before TTC, and it sounds like you need a more
experienced doctor. Bleeding for 40 days is common for PCOSers, but you
need to know what is causing your bleeding. There are many causes:
adrenal cysts, fibroids, thyroid problems, etc. I would make an
appointment now, because it can be months before you can get in to the
RE.
