I read somewhere that there was a far greater risk of adhesions after this surgery. Basically, it is as it sounds. A triangular shaped wedge is taken out of the ovary and it is then sewn back up again. For some reason this seems to bring back periods (it did for me) Look up some of the medical sites. There may be more information on there. All the best.
