I would wonder what other symptoms your daughter is having that would indicate PCOS. What did all of the labwork show ? Obtain a copy of her labwork. How old is she ? Perhaps her reaction is to the medication, if she is taking Glucophage. I think just sending her to a Psychatrist isn't a very helpful solution. What kind of a doctor was this ? It sounds to me like you need someone who can explain things, and give more support. I would suggest a Reproductive Endocrinologist, and also doing lots of research.
