I am currently on metphormin (my second week) my doctor prescribed 1/2 pill first week 1 pill second 1 1/2 third etc... builing up to three a day...when I asked my pharm. to cut 11 pills in half she had no problem doing it. I am assuming met and gluc. are very similar.

Good question. My doctor prescribed half of a pill as well, but my Pharmacist said do not cut it in half. Let me know what you find...
