Re: differences of two seperate kinds of necon? From: Concerned! (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sat, 27 Jul 2002 01:23:07 -0500 (CDT)
T: ***Don't take the 1/50-28 -- it is much much stronger than your usual prescription!!! Yes, they are completely different strengths! It is always best to take the lowest birth control pill possible because the pill can have numerous dangerous side effects. I would not take the .50! Take it back to the pharmacist and tell the pharmacist that you were given the wrong strength -- tell them you're on the .035 -- (is it possible that your doctor's office called in a new ((and incorrect)) prescription OR is this the same prescription(on file with the pharmacy) which you've taken for a while? --- either way, someone made a mistake, either it was the doctor or it was the pharmacy. Here is a link which may help you to understand the strengths. http://www.wdxcyber.com/ncontr13.htm
