Thank you so much for your insight, I will look into the information. I want to have as much knowledge as possible before I go back to my doctor to discuss it with her.

She is actually very focused on female hormonal impacts to the body. I hadn't seen a doctor for many years and finally went to her last year. She did test my thyroid as well as for diabetes and said all was normal. Also, they did find fibroid tumors when they did the ultrasound.

Again, thank you. I just want to be as educated as possible prior to going back and consulting with her or taking any medication (she suggested considering taking Glucophage).
