Hello,

I have never taken gluc, but have been on spironolactone for awhile now. I have been on many doses, and can tell you from my experience that anything below 200 mgs daily doesn't do me any good.

I take 100mg in the morning and 100mg at night, every twelve hours. I can really tell a difference when I'm not on it juxtaposed to when I am taking the medication. Once when I thought I was "cured" I decided I didn't need the medicine anymore. Wrong. My acne started to return, hair started coming out (and as you said...growing where it shouldn't) and I gained 20 pounds over the course of a few months. It is important though that you gradually have your doses increased. A sudden increase might make your bloodpressure drop too suddenly, causing fatigue or worse, heart trouble.

Well, that's my experiences....good luck and press on!!
