Hi Wendy,

Since you don't have the frequency or urgency to urinate, I don't know if this might be your problem or not....but in the past, I have had bladder spasms. These would give me a full feeling and I felt like I had to go more often. In any case, I was more aware of my bladder even being there! The doctor gave me some kind of medicine to stop the bladder spasms and that provided relief. AHHH.

I also seem to have noticed more awareness of bladder bloated feeling and touchiness prior to my period....so maybe there is a hormone cyclic relation to this, as you've noticed.

Shelley Hi, I'm writing from the UK and wondered if anyone could help me please. I have had pcos since I was a teenager. I suffer from Acne of the face,neck,chest & back. Have hair where a woman shouldn't have! Irregular periods oh, the list goes on... I'm 39. I was on Dianette for 6yrs, but had to stop the medication, due to complications which would have led to a stroke! Yesterday my Doctor prescribed Erythromycin lotion, has anyone had good results with this? My other query is that for many years now I have suffered from discomfort in the bladder. It's like Cystitis without the infection. I do not suffer from pain on urinating, or frequency. I find 2 weeks prior to a period the discomfort gets worse & feel very bloated in the lower Abdomen as though a pressure is bearing down on the vaginal area. Somehow i'm convinced this is linked to my hormonal cycle, which is a wreck. Are bladder problems in any way linked to pcos? Have any of you had a similar experience? Would really appreciate your views on this.
