Hi,

glucophage at that dose is ok. Just you should know that you should not start the full dose immediately. Start with just one tablet at your largest meal. If youhave no gastro symptoms or when the symptoms reduce to manageable then add in the next tablet,and so on.

Restriction of refined carbohydrates (sugar, candy, fruit juice, white potatoe, bread, pasta, etc) may also help. make sure you get enough protein.
