Dr. Michael Heard of Baylor presented at the Society of Gynecologic Investigation a paper where he continued metformin uncontrolled and found miscarriage rates similiar to historically high rates for women with PCOS. I'm looking to see when the source is going to come out in a journal article. When I asked the publication about it, they said it hadn't gone to press yet (may have by now). I haven't checked. Everyone else I've seen with sources got better rates. (Go figure, that's why I want to see Dr. Heards' study.)

I thought that I read that if we are on glucophage that the miscarriage rate drops back down to that of a regular couple since the insulin resistance is the main contributor to PCOS related miscarriages.
