Hi Benny,
I would like to clarify some misconceptions.
PCOS is a common cause of m/c. PCOSers have 3-5 times the risk of m/c compared to regular couples.
If a D&C is done, not the "baby" is sent for examinations but the tissue cleared from your uterus. This is a histological examination and rarely reveals anyting as of the cause if m/c.
There is no "baby" at 7w. It is called an embryo, later it becomes fetus (after w12.)
The most common cause of m/c is genetic, i.e. chromosomal irregularity of the embryo.
