Re: Clomid & twinsFrom: Ang (anonymous@obgyn.net)Fri, 21 Jun 2002 00:04:56 -0500 (CDT)
I don't post often on boards but this one I had too! :-) While I have heard the same things that Clomid doesn't give you any greater chance of multiples than anyone else, don't forget that that chance still exists. I took 50 mg of clomid in 3 cycles and had a boy. Took the same and had a miscarriage at 8 weeks. Took the same with IUI due to the clomid messing with my mucus and had triplets. Then I found Rezulin. I was on Rezulin and ovulated on my own great. I miss Rezulin so much and have yet to find a good substitue for me. On the Rezulin and using birth control measures we got pregnant with twins. Multiples do not run in my family. I had 6 kids in 5 years. The odds of this happening aren't good and I know of one other person like me and all hers are spontanious. I just want everyone to understand that for everyone who says this won't happen to me, it does happen to someone. That said, I am blessed and pleased to be the mom of 6 kids and two sets of multiples. I love them so very much! My 2 cents. Angela
