I just got home from having my IUI (it's amazing that the insemination for something so important takes only 2 seconds but if it does the job, that's what counts)! I finally ovulated after taking the Provera to bring on my period and then took 150 mg of Clomid to make me ovulate (I hadn't ovulated on the 100 mg so they upped it). But I did ovulate (which was pretty painful -- like the most severe cramps you have ever had for a prolonged time) and let's hope and pray this time it works. We have been trying FOREVER and I know what you mean about saying so many prayers! As far as side effects, other than having diarrhea and stomach probs on the Glucophage, with the Clomid I was just super-emotional (and kind of a super b*tch)! Plus the painful ovulation.
