I haven't heard anything about PCOS making the blood clot during pregnancy. Certain immune issues can - such as Antiphospholipid antibodies or Factor V Leiden - but PCOS - from all the research and specialists I have seen - has not been a contributor to blood disorders.

The main issues with PCOS is 1. conception and 2. sugar levels (which is why metformin during trimester one is so important). It is also important to watch for gestational diabetes and hypoglycemia (from taking too much metformin).

I am on baby asprin - for non-PCOS related issues and will stay on it until the last trimester - discontinuing during the last 2 months.
