Hi Karen and Tangee,

I am fascinated by what both of you wright: ovulating while on Provera. I was the first persong to describe that Provera (MPA) may induce ovulation if a follicle is ripe enough to burst (1982). As Provera is a progestogen and widely used as a contraceptive (Depo-Provera shot), my observation was flatly refused by my boss (a very famous reproductive endocrinologist) and I could publish these observations only in minor papers. Later on I used 5 mg MPA to induce ovulation in the same manner as HCG in infertility patients with good results. Now I am glad that some girls came to the same observation. To Karen: how is your BBT after stopping MPA? Still high? Sure you have ovulated and you may have conceived too. Looking forward to your answers
