Mandi -

I LOVE my new PCOS doctor - he's an ob/gyn but also does a host of other stuff including infertility and menopause. He was recommended by another PCOSer from around Boston and after two appointments with him I couldn't be more pleased. Both he and his office and nursing staff have been polite, kind, and interested in my case, something I never got from the 3 different REs in two different cities I've seen. (My RE at Mass General really sucked. She was more interested in research than her patients, and I am not the only one of her patients who felt that way. I also got sick of waiting six months to see her.)

His name is Dr Roy Epstein and he has a new office in Wakefield right off of 128/95. I was able to get an appointment with him within a few weeks of calling his office. He prescribed metformin for me and chose to do a fasting glucose on me before I had to ask! He is also learning laser hair removal but is good about spiro, BCPs, whatever you want, including more homeopathic methods.

Hope this helps - I can give you more info if you email me.
