Prometrium is high dose natural progesterone and is very good for pregnancy. Progesterone is the critical hormone our bodies make for conceiving and carrying the baby to term. Taking extra for the first trimester is added insurance against miscarriage until the placenta develops fully and takes over making the progesterone. Congrats! BJ
