Re: BCP, ovarian suppression, follicles

Dear Sam,
Thanks for your response. Have been (still am) travelling (work) and no
easy e-mail access. The size of the large follicles is 1 - 1.5 cm
("cysts"??). The ultrasound report did not provide any further details,
but mentioned multiple small follicles.... on both ovaries.
Anyway, my endo is more concerned that creatinine has increased by 0.3
(from 1.0 to 1.3) since last measurement (about 9 months), potassium
also up slightly. I am not on a high protein diet, only avoiding
refined carbs. Have not changed diet or exercise habits. This
indicates kidney problems? Would this mean I need to stop metformin? Dr.
did refer me to a nephrologist for 'full work-up/at least one time check
out' but with so little fuss, that I didn't even think to ask
questions...... only realised that she was concerned when I saw she has
asked for K and creatinine measurement on next blood pannel when she
sees me in 2 months.... is there any reason for concern?
Thanks so much for your time and support.
