DON'T STOP EXERCISING! IT REALLY WORKS! MUSCLES WEIGHS MORE THAN FAT!

Here's some advice...I have found out the only way I can lose weight is by this: I myself tried the weight loss thing and got nowhere, and found out by research and by my own personal trials that carb cutting isn't the sole answer. You can eat moderate levels of carbs. Starchy carbs such as rice, pasta and bread are best eaten when you eat it with protein. Here's why: Carbs are easily absorbed into your body and bump up your triglycerides automatically..that is why you feel a rush and then feel so tired after a short time. When you mix protein with carbs, it is absorbed into your body more evenly. Protein is absorbed SLOWLY into the body, and it helps to slow down the absorption of carbs so quickly. Eat alot of vegetables and go easy on starchy carbs. Get yoru carbs mostly from fruits and veggies, and eat WHOLE GRAIN breads, and if you do eat rice or pasta, make sure it is brown rice or whole wheat pasta or semolina...refined starches and carbs screw with your blood sugar too much. Keep this in mind too: when you exercise, you start to build muscle. People (including myself) tend to want to see the pounds drop off right away, but truth is, MOST people who start exercising will gain a bit first, or at least maintain their weight for awhile. When you exercise, you built lean muscle first, and we all know that muscles weighs more than fat, but this is a good thing. We WANT muscle on our bodies as it burns fat...The more muscle you have, the more your body burns, and the higher your basil metabolic rate is (burning of calories while at rest). So don't worry! It's ok to maintain or even gain a bit while starting to work out and exercise. Believe it or not, you can burn fat without seeing the scale move a centimeter. Because muscles is slowly replacing the fat...and once your body evens out (as mine did) you will see a slow decrease in fat...PCOS people CAN lose weight! It took me two months before I even lost a pound, but noticed that I was getting stronger in the meantime. Don't lose faith!
