I would honestly say to talk to your doctor. I went off metformin
(glucophage) for a week so I could party and when I got back my symptoms
were terrible. I ended up in ER with an elevated heart rate (183) and
my blood pressure was off the charts! (160/118)...my blood sugar was all
messed up too and I got so sick! Many women I know will go off the
glucophage to enjoy their partying (we all need it once in a while) and
it totally messes them up. PLEASE talk to your doctor and find out the
problems before you do it...Trust me, I LOVE my beer, but what I went
through wasn't worth it hon...
