PCOS has to with insulin resistance and is an Endocrine disorder, not exactly an ovarian disorder. You do not have to have cysts to have PCOS. I am sure that a long time ago it was thought that you had to have cysts, but that is simply not true. There has been new research and discoveries about PCOS. I have all the symptoms of PCOS and I had one small cyst on my ovary which is gone now. Does that mean I no longer have PCOS? I think not :) ! Because, I still have all the symptoms EXCEPT cysts on my ovaries. This disorder really needs a new name...lol! Candi
