Thanks for responding. I am only on Metaformin now. I know what you
mean about the doctor, my doc is only in Queens once a week. I am not
on anything besides Metaformin right now and it seems that both of you
conceived on Pergonal. That has not even been offer to me. What is
that exactly?

But, the cycle that I finally conceived on was after having taken a break from treatment for about 9 months. The "egg" wasn't quite the size the doctor was hoping for, but I was cramping considerably from the meds. We went ahead and took the shot of Profasi to make me ovulate....(keep in mind, MEDICINE is NOT an exact science.....they don't know everything!) During that cycle, the tech that was doing the vaginal ultrasounds had done some research of her own and found that there is a possibility the K-Y jelly (or whatever jel lubricant they use) could act as a spermicide on some patients...so, as we got closer to the "end" of the cycle, she used only water to lubricate the vaginal probe.
