Hi,

There are no conflicting informations only misinformed people. If you have conceived on metformin, you shuold continue at least for 10w post conception to diminish the risk of miscarraige. On the other hand metformin deteriorates folic acid absorbtion, therefore you have to add extra folic acid (800 mcg) to your diet. I don't intend to deal with suggestions other drs give as not even try ro conceive. So what? You are pregnant, should you discontinue (?) it b/c somebody says you shouldn't even try it?
