Hi,
PCOS is generally diagnosed from signs and symptoms, hormone levels, and
exclusion of other conditions. Presence or otherwise of polycystic
ovaries is not important in the diagnosis.
Dianete will help with the symptoms. However, to treat the cause it is
recommended that an insulin sensitiser (metformin) be used. This should
be the first line of treatment. Then, if you want to use dianette as
well, that may also be helpful.
