no but for you to notice any affects from the meds both spiro and the met have to be taken regularly. i used to take the spiro but quit when i started ttc. i now take the glucophage and my dr gave me the xr which is extended release so i only have to take it once a day and it works all day. teresa smith ttc #1 pcos glucophage xr 1500 mg, folic acid 4mg and clomid 50 mg(1st cycle) and lots of prayer!
