Hi Kelly

you go off the BCP when you want to conceive. You may decide not to go off the metformin. It apparently reduces miscarriage during pregnancy. TO go off the metformin will be a decision that you and your doctor will need to make (but please do your research). Metformin may be for life. However, some women find they can control the symptoms with diet and exercise. However, regardless of how you proceed, you will need to monitor your health closely, p0articularly for PCOS and possible related conditions for the rest of your life.

Not as bad as it sounds.

Best wishes

Sally
