Ref Natural MedicationsFrom: anonymous@obgyn.netMon, 13 May 2002 15:26:49 EDT
Hi I read an article recently about natural alternatives, or at least things to take that are not so brutal to your body. Eating more plant oestrogens such as lentils, chickpeas(whatever they are?) and soya products. It also mentioned the plant extract D.I.M which helps regulate oestrogen levels, reduces the symptoms of PMS and plycystic ovaries and may cut the risk of breast cancer. But please check all this out with your doctor before you try anything, as I haven't tried it yet, but will check with my consultant. Also someone mentioned that they don't see their doctor much whilst on Clomid. I have been told that if you are prone to cysts then Clomid can makethings worse some months so you MUST have regular scans to check this out, as left undetected, the cysts will build up with each month of Clomid useage. Hope this helps someone
