I am a 25 year old mother of a 3 year old and have just recently been diagnosed with PCOS. I am taking Metformin and a high dose of the BC pill. I would like to concieve in about a year. My question is:

1-Do I go off the meds when I become pregnant (or before I get pregnant)? 2-After I have a child do I have to go back on the meds and for how long? 3-Is PCOS a life-long problem that never resolves itself without medication?

Any help would be appreciated!
