The purpose of keeping you on the BC pill is to regulate your period. Most PCOS patients have irregular or missed periods. You MUST be on the pill or you will continue to be on this vicious cycle of missed cycles. Your irregular cycles are what sometimes causes the cysts on your ovaries. I also am wanting to concieve soon, but first I want to lose some weight and be healthier. I hope this has helped some. Kelly
