Question - Metformin use without insulin resistance.

Anyone have any info on Metformin use without insulin resistance to help pcos and induce ovulation?

I/R tests came back normal, but diagnosed pcos. I have heard limited, but positive suggestions that Met has been used on non-IR women with success, even though a cause is not known.

If this is used, it would be ideal for me medically, and financially - I/F per se is not covered by insurance, but Met. would be.

I am waiting on a referral to an RE from my reg. ob/gyn.

Thanks!!!! Emily
