Hi,

if you are feeling a lot better, I would guess that the insulin levels are already down. I read somewhere that it takes a couple of weeks to see full therapeutic benefit from metformin (on the drug sheet)- or at least they said that the response to a single dose of metformin is not indicative of the actual response with on-going therapy. However, I think it is the experience of some women here that it can take up to 6 months (or even longer) to see full benefits in terms of resumed periods etc....
