You certainly aren't worrying about nothing. What you describe sounds very unpleasant, so it's understandable that you would be uncomfortable or even worried. By all means, see your doctor. Since you've stopped taking Glucophage, maybe you should stay off it until you see your doctor or you note an improvement. It's not impossible that something else is causing these symptoms.

If you literally can't look people in the eyes when you speak to them, I am impressed by your ability to type out a message without a single unintended key stroke. Are you exaggerating the symptoms? I'm not trying to criticize or embarrass you, just to get a more accurate view of what you're experiencing.

Some people have said that what you eat while on Glucophage can significant affect your reaction to the drug. What is your diet? Have you eliminated sweets and cut down general carbs?
