Reply: Lori: "Re: Progesterone & Metformin together - is this ok?" I have been taking 850mg Metformin twice a day for a couple of weeks and feel a lot better for it. I don't take the contraceptive pill but instead take progesterone 5g to induce a period every couple of months as I keep getting endometrial hyperplasia. Anyway I was just wondering if there are any reasons why I shouldn't be taking these tablets together?
