Hi,

There are women who have gone off Metformin and do have successful pregnancies. Try checking on some of the other larger lists, and you'll find them. The decision for Metformin during pregnancy is very controversial still. Its a hard decision, and there is no clear cut answer as to whether or not to take it during pregnancy. There are other things that you can do to keep insulin levels down - style of eating and exercise (whatever kind the doc says you can do). There is also progesterone if you need it.
