Did your GYN test you for insulin resistance? Since your sugars read high maybe diabeties is your problem. If left uncontrolled, your insulin levels effect your cycle (among other things). A lot of us with PCOS are put on Glucophage and see our cycles return to normal. Even some of us that dont show insulin resistance respond well to Glucophage. If you GYN is not familiar with the use of diabetic meds for PCOS do some checking yourself and take the info to your doc. There a couple of web site to go to about this. I am not sure of the addresses. I'd have to look into it (my doc knows about Glucophase and PCOS).

Could one of you out there help Carolyn with the web address for info on using Glucophase when dealing with PCOS?

Good luck. It sounds like you are on track. Unfortunately, it seems as though the symptoms of this disease keep changing. FORTUNATELY we are learning more and more about treatment.

God Bless!!
