Metformin

I was recently told by my OB/GYN that He would NOT put me on Metformin for my PCOS. I have been on Clomid for five months and had one miscarriage during this time. He told me that Metformin was TOO dangerous and too many BAD side effects. From what I have seen on the internet, the side effects are minimal. I can only take the Clomid for 12 months total due to the chances of ovarian cancer. Basically, my months are numbered. I don't mind taking the chances of nausea and vomitting. I don't see why I can't try it. This may be our only chance.
