Re: PCO Diagnosis

Try the women's health email lists. A doctor over there may answer, but BCP is an option for PCOS. There is a lot of anti pill sentiment. I've had several women write to me privately and ask why they continuously get jumped on or can't mention that they take the pill. Amazing the control people want to have over others' lives, even if it is on the internet. Weigh the options, and if BCP is a good thing for you, keep on taking it. Do what is best for you, not the virtual world.

In America, you have to search to find a good doctor. Do you just keep seeing doctors without coming in with a list of questions to ask them? Do you interview them or their office before you go see them? I have found that doing the 'leg work' or detective work before you go to a doctor, doing your own research, is what will help you find a doctor. There's no easy way around it.
