Hi,

PCOS treatment has several components. These are drugs, diet, and exercise. Diet and exercise can also be very effective if you can be disciplined with them, particualrly if you don't wish to take drugs at this time. However, with a new baby, the exercise might take quite a bit of effort and planning. Maybe a treadmill. Or a pram that is suitable for long walks. Some places have mother and baby exercise classes. DOn't know if that is accessible for you. For diet, try a balanced low carb approach such as the Zone (should still be suitable while breast feeding, as long as you are sure to get enough calories) or sugar busters. Would not recommend something too strict such as Atkins while breast feeding.

You and your dr. will need to decide together on the drug approach.

Best wishes
