My doctor in Brazil is also surprised that my HCG shots were given as early as CD 10 (day after end of Clomid) and that my ultrasounds show that the follicles were never smaller than 25 mm, sometimes even over 30mm. He said that is too late. The first shot I got was CD 13, but the follicle was over 30mm, so for the following two months the doctor moved my US to day 10 and gave me the shot then. Is something wrong with this? Should the follicles not exceed a certain size? Is there such a thing as too late or too big? I only take 50 mg of clomid (cd5-9).
